Lupe Fiasco is coming two days after my birthday, but my parents will be here so I doubt I’ll be able to go. I missed The Decemberists. Cobra, The Maine, and ARTTM are coming to Chicago on Sunday and I don’t think I can go. The concert situation as been pretty bleak so far, with the exception of John Legend.

I’m hoping to catch Ray LaMontagne on November 12th. Remind me not to sing to him in my Ray voice. That would be embarrassing. Also, I am getting to see HonSoc on November 20th. Alex Noyes, here comes trouble ;)

I was watching My Super Sweet Sixteen and this girl got the Maine for her birthday party, but she didn’t know the name of the members but was like “They’re my favorite band!” And then none of the kids at the party knew who they were and I was thinking “WTF is wrong with these kids!? The Maine is awesome!!!”
